Ah! February 14th has come back, yet once again.
The day of love. Pssht. Why only one day to express love? Don't we express it 24x7? Through small gestures and kind words? Yes, we are. And indirectly, we are showing people the existence of God , in us,through love, as it is said in 1 John 4:12 in the Bible.
Coming to the date, Feb 14th , and the entire Valentine's week as well, instills in peoples' minds , the need to impress the people whom they adore and like very much,regardless of the fact that the best way is to just be simple, and that this can be done any day. What if you would have to wait a whole year again to propose to him/her? He or she would've gotten committed, betrothed, married or most probably, would have had kids by then.
Also, on this day, while many people finally get to express their feelings, and fortunately do get the people they've always adored , many people on the other hand, either get dumped by their lovers, or are separated from their spouses , or just happen to lose their virginity with the overflow of hormones in them.
So couples, married or dating, have fun today, but stay safe. :)
And singles, instead of brooding over the fact that you're lonely on Valentine's Day, try pouring out your love on someone who needs it the most, as in right now. Who knows? One among them , might just be your Valentine! :)
